Tickets on sale for upcoming Michigan Black Summit in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Michigan Black Summit announced tickets are now on sale for third the annual event which is happening Feb. 7 and 8 at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center.

Organizers also revealed this year's keynote speaker as Quentin Messner, a leader from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).

Messner’s expertise described as being in economic development and creating equitable opportunities for underserved communities.

Summit organizers say as a key player at MEDC, Messner has spearheaded initiatives that drive inclusive growth, support small businesses, and promote community revitalization.

“We are thrilled to welcome Quentin Messner to the Michigan Black Summit,” said Trenton Bowens, Chair of the Summit. “His experience and dedication to economic equity align perfectly with our mission. His keynote will inspire attendees to think boldly about transforming their communities and leveraging economic development for lasting impact.”

The summit will feature panels, workshops, and a gala headlined by the Midnight Star.
