Three injured, one killed in crash on US 20

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- One person was killed and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on US 20 near Roeske Avenue Sunday afternoon.
Deputies say a 2003 Mitsubishi SUV was traveling westbound on US20 when it traveled into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2008 Ford.
Several other vehicles in the eastbound lanes of US20 were involved in the crash.
The driver of the 2008 Ford, Malachi Young, 19, was extricated from his vehicle, but died at the scene before he could be transported to the hospital.
Three other people were injured in the crash.
Toxicology test results are pending.
The crash remains under investigation.
