Three days left, but more to learn at Elkhart County Fair

GOSHEN, Ind. -- With day six closing out, time is ticking to get to the Elkhart County 4-H fair with only three days until it leaves town. 

The fair will wrap up with a few more events,  including a Latin night on Fri. and the Indiana Championship Demolition Derby on Sat., along with the usual rides and attractions. It’s community activities like these that Randi Yoder said got him where he is today.

Yoder, the 2025 president of Elkhart County Fair Board, spent his youth at the fairgrounds as a 4-H member before his transition to president later down the line.

“The Friendships that I made, the projects I was in… was teaching me leadership skills I didn’t know. I was just told yesterday by a board member going ‘I remember you when you were a shy, little 4-Her and now you’re the president of the board,” said Yoder.
