CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- On Saturday, Dec. 27. at approximately 10:56 a.m. Sheriff Clint Roach and his deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Twin Lakes Road and Dutch Settlement Street in Cass County, Michigan. 

The vehicle, driven by a 61-year-old female, was northbound on Twin Lakes Road near Dutch Settlement Street when she lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into a tree. 

The driver was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Niles hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. 

SMCAS Ambulance, Cass Fire Department, and Wayne Township Fire Department assisted on the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation.
