Three arrested in Sturgis for assaulting 19-year-old

STURGIS, Mich. -- The Sturgis Department of Public Safety reports officers responded to an assault in progress in the 400 block of N. Nottawa Street around 10:30 p.m., Saturday.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old Sturgis man with multiple lacerations to his face.

During the investigation, authorities found and arrested three suspects on charges including Felonious Assault, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Brass Knuckles.

All three were taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
