At 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Mishawaka Utilities Electric reported crews are continuing to work closely with I&M to address the ongoing outage.

Lines became entangled leading to power disruption.
Crews are making necessary repairs to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
The City of Mishawaka and Mishawaka Utilities were also informed by I&M that restoration is expected to take several more hours.
Mishawaka crews are now exploring possible ways to reroute, switch the power feed sooner, and do everything possible to expedite restoration.
UPDATE: Mishawaka crews are at two separate sub stations investigating the cause.
I&M Power told ABC57 a high voltage transmission line is out, but they are "investigating the cause." They could not confirm if the line was down.
The UP Mall is now temporarily closed due to the outage.
Nearby traffic lights are also out.
