UPDATE: Suspect identified from Friday's shooting in Elkhart

Elkhart County Jail ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department have released the name of the suspect from Friday's late evening shooting at the Retreat Apartment Homes in the 2800 block of Toledo Road.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Keith Barrier, Jr.
Barrier was booked into the Elkhart County Jail on preliminary charges including:
- Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, a Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor
- Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor
Barrier is being held without bail until his hearing on June 4.
