JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Cass County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash around 8:48 p.m. on May 30 at the intersection of Daily Rd. and Pine Lake St.

The investigation showed that a vehicle was traveling East on Pine Lake Rd. when they failed to yield to oncoming traffic, hitting a vehicle that was traveling South on Dailey Rd.

Deputies say that speed may have been a factor for the vehicle traveling South.

The driver of the vehicle that failed to yield was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

This crash remains under investigation.
