LAKEVILLE, Ind. -- Among the freedom festivities this 4th of July, was Newton Park in Lakeville, welcoming thousands to celebrate the holiday.
Gates opened at 6 p.m., and were followed by food trucks, inflatables, and fun for the whole family.
A concert kicked off at 8 p.m. with music from “Cook and Belle”.
The night ended with a bang, 20 minutes of fireworks lighting up the sky, and they were paid for by the sale of 2,024 flags that were used to line the perimeter of the park.
ABC57 was told it's a tradition that has created many memories for the community in the past 19 years, and they hope to see it keep getting bigger and better.
