The Window in Goshen extends closure, no estimate provided for reopening

ABC 57 GOSHEN, Ind. -- A food pantry in Goshen will not re-open this month as it had hoped.
In a new release, The Window said it will not meet its required fundraising goal by its goal of the end of July. The organization says it has thus far raised $130,000; it identified $300,000 as the amount it needs to securely reopen. It did not give a new goal for reopening.
A prominent food pantry in Goshen is pausing services.
The Window announced its temporary closure in June. Staff there say it was due to declining community financial support paired with rising costs.
