SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A girl is injured after a shooting on East Donald Street near Riley High School around midnight on Christmas.
Police confirm the shooting happened late Wednesday just before midnight. We have also confirmed the victim was a student at Mishawaka High School the first semester of this school year.
The victim suffered substantial injuries, but they are believed to be non-life threatening, and this is believed to be an isolated incident.
The South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
