Team USA under fire for uniforms made in China

UNITED STATES -- It may be about national pride to represent your country at the Olympics, but Team USA is under criticism for its choice of uniform manufacturer.

The official uniforms were designed by Ralph Lauren, an American fashion designer. But the uniforms themselves were made in China.

This has upset many Americans.

"Why shouldn't we have pride not only in the American athletes, but in the American manufacturers and laborers who are the backboneo of our country. Why? What's wrong? Why was that not a consideration," said Nanette Lepore, a fashion designer.

The U.S. Olympic Committe responded saying they are privately funded and are grateful to their sponsors and Ralph Lauren's iconic American company.
