Suspect charged in connection with fatal shooting on Philippa Street
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office have charged 23-year-old Keith Hardy, of Chicago, with murder for his role in the death of 25-year-old Marlon Bernard, of Gary, on April 12 in the 700 block of Philippa Street.
An investigation by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit found that Hudson was shot and killed.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Christopher Fronk has charged Hardy with, murder, battery by means of a deadly weapon deadly weapon, and firearm enhancement.
A warrant for the arrest of Hardy has been issued, and law enforcement is requesting the public’s help locating him.
