Suspect accused of disorderly conduct at gas station leads police on pursuit

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich.—A suspect accused of disorderly conduct at a gas station was arrested after a police pursuit, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office.

On September 1, deputies were sent to the Mottville Township Marathon gas station for a report of disorderly conduct.

A vehicle was then found speeding westbound on U.S. 12 from Vistula Road, deputies said.

Police attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle but it left at high speeds on U.S. 12 into Cass County.

The vehicle was eventually stopped on U.S. 12, west of S. River Road.

Police took the 32-year-old driver from White Pigeon into custody on suspicion of fleeing and eluding and operating while intoxicated, 2nd offense.
