Sunny and breezy today

With most areas in the viewing area not expected to reach 70 degrees, today is quite the contrast compared to this past week. Wind also picks up behind the cold front that came through, gusting up to 25 mph today. High pressure dominates the area, and we are expecting clear skies for most of today and tomorrow. Tonight, will get chilly, lows in the high 40s, with breezy conditions continuing. Monday is a much milder day, with highs expected in the mid to high 70s. Bouncing around the 80s for most of next week, rain chances pick up again Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. Shower and storm chances heighten again Thursday afternoon and into Friday, but the post-holiday weekend looks to be clear of precipitation and with near average temperatures for this time of year. The beginning of next week looks warmer, highs in the mid 80s.
