Sun King sets date for Mishawaka grand opening

MISHAWAKA, Ind. –  A date has been set for the grand opening of Sun King Brewery’s new tap room in Mishawaka.

The tap room is set to open to the public on July 22 at The Mill at Ironworks Plaza, sitting adjacent to Beutter Park on the St. Joseph River.

The new Sun King location features 24 beers on tap in addition to carry-out cans, growlers, and kegs available to purchase.

Besides the bar area, the facility is family-friendly.

Alongside the brews, customers can enjoy burgers and tacos from Smash and Trash, a restaurant concept from a South Bend entrepreneurial group.

Sun King’s Mishawaka location is the sixth in the state.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sun King to Mishawaka,” said Mishawaka Mayor David Wood. “We’re incredibly proud of The Mill at Ironworks Plaza and Indiana businesses like Sun King Brewery that are creating a beautiful, fun environment for residents of Mishawaka, our neighbors and visitors.”
