ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Across six different cities in Elkhart County, the 16 Quilt Gardens have been bringing quilting, gardening, and art to Elkhart since 2007. In 2026, the tourism sites will expand to 17 gardens.
On Wednesday, ABC57's Summer Horan spoke with Janis Logsdon, the Quilt Gardens Project Manager, about what makes the Quilt Gardens so special, what the upcoming expansion will bring, and how volunteers can help keep the gardens alive.
The Quilt Gardens are closed for the season, but will open again Saturday, May 30, 2026 and you can learn more about them at Visit Elkhart County.
