NOW: Summer’s Spotlight: Change to anti-bullying bill goes into effect in Indiana

This morning on Summer’s Spotlight, Summer was joined by Child & Parent Advocates, Rachel Van Alstine and Leatra Scott, to talk about an amendment to an Indiana anti-bullying bill.

This amendment, part of House Bill 1483, requires schools to document bullying and abuse. Previously, a child could be bullied at school and the school would not be required to keep a record of it.

The change went into effect on July 1.
