Goshen Hispanic Heritage Market brings food, music, and culture to the 4-H Fairgrounds

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Goshen's Hispanic Heritage Market drew a large crowd to the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The event was hosted by N&C Pop-ups and was organized by event coordinator Niomi Lara.

"So, what I want to see five years from now is the event being bigger. Every year we want to make it bigger and better, but not in the way that needs to be a big party or, you know, lots of music, this and that. No, just definitely a lot more education."

The market featured a children's area with activities tied to different Latin American countries, "I think it's very important for all of us to know, have our kids know what makes us, us, and whether it's food, the dances, the music, just learning all of that is great."

Vendors filled the fairgrounds with clothing, jewelry, and sports jerseys, while food trucks and stands served a variety of Mexican dishes and desserts.

"Just seeing everybody come together, bigger businesses come together and support N&C Pop-Ups and the Hispanic Heritage Market. It was just incredible to see everyone out here dancing."
