However, the afternoon and evening will see a shift, as widespread thunderstorms—some potentially severe—develop. The main threats are strong winds and hail; the chance for tornadoes is low, but not zero. The storms are expected to peak around 6 or 7 p.m. and continue into the overnight hours, becoming less severe.
