Storm claims 380-year-old oak tree

WESTMINSTER, Md. -- One of Maryland's oldest trees fell victim to Mother Nature.

In Westminster, Maryland a white oak tree toppled over Thursday.

The tree itself was 380 years old.

The giant tree hit a car when it landed, but missed a home about 50 feet away.

"I heard a noise, and it just got louder and I grabbed her and I ran to the basement. My husband was at the basement door. I told him, something big just fell," said Donna Sizemore.

Much of New England is under a flash flood warning as storms continue to push through the area.
