STEVENSVILLE, Mich. -- The state of Michigan is stepping in to help grow crops in Southwest Michigan.
Two Michigan lawmakers rolled out a plan to help area farmers who were blasted by those spring frosts.
A rep from Stevensville and the other in St. Joseph helped introduce new legislation. It would provide financial relief for those fruit farmers who were devastated by Mother Nature.
The low interest loans would help them build their crops back up.
