KNOX, Ind. – Starke County is cutting back on deliveries is cutting back on deliveries to two days a week for their mobile food delivery program.
Deliveries will be on Mondays and Thursdays starting next week.
The decision came after volunteers who help deliver the boxes of groceries and hot meals had to return to work.
County officials say that if they see a surge of residents needing help, they will go back to delivering groceries five days a week.
To apply for delivery, go to the Starke County website.
