St. Patricks County Parks Outdoor Adventures summer day camp

Registrations are still being accepted for "Outdoor Adventures" at St. Patrick's County Park. "Outdoor Adventures" is a day camp that introduces children ages five to 14 to the wonders of nature. Activities range from catching wiggly pond critters during “Animal Adventures” week to creating astronomy-inspired works of art during “Art Week” which is co-sponsored by Notre Dame’s Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics. Parents are encouraged to register soon, as several camps are filling up quickly.

Five camps are offered for different age groups.

Kindergarten – 1st grade: Wildlife Detectives –
July 9-13, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

1st – 2nd grade: Animal Adventures –
July 16-20, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

3rd – 4th grade: Art Week –
July 23-27, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

5th – 6th grade: Game On! –
July 30-August 3, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

6th – 8th grade: Paddles, Poles, Discs and Arrows –
Thursday, August 9, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
