ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St Joseph County Public Library is partnering with the City of South Bend Venues, Parks, and Arts to host a week-long family-friendly outdoor event throughout South Bend.
Library Boomers will take place at six different neighborhood parks throughout the week. It’s all part of a weekly tour of area parks, featuring live storytelling, community performances, lots of activities, and snacks for the whole family to enjoy. Some activities include arts and crafts and a magic show.
Each day, from Sept. 14 to Sept. 19 the community can come out to a different neighborhood park. The final day will feature an outdoor musical performance for families and young children with Jim Gill. Attendance for Explore- A-Story will be limited to 250 people on a first-come, first-serve basis. Face masks for adults and children over the age of two are required for all events.
