NAPPANEE, Ind. -- On Thursday afternoon, at approximately 4:47 a.m., Nappanee Emergency Services were dispatched to Williamsburg Furniture. in Nappanee for an accident with injury involving a truck and a pedestrian.
The victim, a 66-year-old female suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Nappanee airport and airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The driver of the truck, a 31-year-old female was not injured and stayed and cooperated with police, and the investigation is ongoing.
