South Shore Line to offer campus shuttle bus service for Notre Dame / Indiana playoff game
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Shore Line announced in order to accommodate passengers attending the University of Notre Dame vs. Indiana University college playoff game on Friday, Dec. 20, they will provide campus shuttle bus service for certain trains.
Officials say Train #7 will arrive at the South Bend International Airport at 11:46 a.m., while Train #11 will arrive at 3:42 p.m.
Train #111 typically ends in Michigan City but will make a special trip to the airport on Dec. 20, arriving at 4:50 p.m.
Officials say passengers will then board a shuttle bus near the South Shore train platform to then be dropped off at the IU School of Medicine building on campus at 1234 N Notre Dame Ave. in South Bend.
An extra train will run, departing the airport 90 minutes after the end of the game.
The shuttle bus will stage at the drop-off location on campus and leave with passengers one hour after the end of the game to return to the airport.
