South Bend to host meetings for Portage-Elwood Visioning Plan update

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The City of South Bend announced two dates for public meetings to discuss the updates of the Portage-Elwood Visioning Plan.

City officials say the meetings aim to review and gather feedback for the update to the original 2018 plan.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, May 30, at Brown Community Learning Center from 6 to 8 p.m.

The second meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at Muessel Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Community members are invited to attend these events to share their thoughts and feedback on the update.

The original vision was created in partnership with neighborhood residents, businesses, institutions, and other stakeholders.

A survey is open for residents and community members to take part in until June 12.
