The family of a South Bend shooting victim say they're seeing a miracle.
15-year old Tyler Brown was sitting in the passenger's seat of his father's SUV, last month, when he was unexpectedly shot. He's been in the hospital, in critical condition.
Friday, Brown's uncle, South Bend Common Council Member Canneth Lee, told ABC57 Brown is improving tremendously. The teenager is recovering, now able to walk and talk again.
"We're just excited about the miracle that we're being a part of," Lee said. "And seeing young people praying, and seeing that their prayers are not in vain but actually helping."
Anyone with information on Brown's shooting can call Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
