South Bend Office of Diversity and Inclusion hosting Community Conversation event

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend announced Tuesday that its Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) will be hosting its first “Community Conversations” event on Thursday, March 20 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Howard Park Event Center.

"This fireside chat-style event aims to foster dialogue between small business owners, entrepreneurs and the ODI to ensure they understand the services available to support their growth," a city spokesperson said.

The event will include:

  • Meet the ODI Team – Learn about programs designed to support small businesses and entrepreneurs
  • Small Business Assistance Suite Panel – Hear from program administrators and business coaches on available resources.
  • Community Q&A – Share challenges and opportunities to help shape future initiatives.

City officials say the event is free and open to all small business owners, entrepreneurs, and those interested in learning more about ODI business support services in South Bend.
