South Bend mayor is creating a youth task force

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- Mayor Pete Buttigieg is creating a youth task force.
It's a volunteer community service program open for high school students.
They will learn about and participate in city government, and make a positive impact on the community.
The mayor is planning to start the program Monday at Riley High School.
Applications are available at the County City Building on West Jefferson Boulevard.
