South Bend man found guilty of possessing a firearm

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend man was found guilty of one count of felon in possession of a firearm in federal court following a two day jury trial.

On November 2, 2017, Nehemiah Felders was inside a home when officers from the Indiana State Police executed a search warrant for drugs.

A firearm was found near Felders and he admitted it belonged to him, according to court records.

Felders will be sentenced on August 26.
