South Bend apartment complex catches fire early Sunday morning

SOUTH BEND — A South Bend apartment complex caught fire early Sunday morning. It happened just before 5 a.m.
When firefighters arrived to the scene at Patty Lane, they saw smoke billowing out of one apartment.
The fire was out when they arrived, but one unit was completely filled with smoke.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators say the fire started in the kitchen.
