The chance for much needed, soaking rain increases through Thursday. The chance of rain starts mid-afternoon and peak into the evening. Estimates remain high for nearly an inch of rain through Friday morning, even if half of that falls, it would still be the wettest day this month. Showers end early Friday morning. There's another chance of rain late Saturday into early Sunday. Fair weather returns for early next week.

Thursday: Rain by late afternoon. High 60.
