ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, February 16, 2025
Snow showers will continue this morning, especially east of US 31. This "system" snow will likely bring us an inch or two of snow through 10 A.M. This afternoon, snow will pick back up off of Lake Michigan. Another inch to three inches of snow is likely, especially in the typical lake effect zones. Additionally, winds could gust near 40 mph this afternoon and evening, so blowing and drifting snow may be an issue. Be particularly careful on N-S oriented roadways. Snow should wrap up for most overnight, after which the cold weather will take over. Highs will barely reach the double digits on President's Day and will stay in the upper teens/low 20s for the rest of the workweek. Our next chance of snow arrives Wednesday, with accumulations likely Wednesday night into Thursday.
Today (Sunday): Snow showers in the morning, then lake effect snow and wind in the afternoon. High 29.
Tonight: Snow showers in the evening, then cloudy and cold. Low 8.
Tomorrow (President's Day): Cloudy and very cold. A flurry or snow shower possible. High 11.
Tuesday: Cloudy and cold. High 17.
