MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- OC fireworks held a grand reopening where they showed off their new showroom.
"So, we just got it's like a, we call it a grand reopening, it's not, but we redid our showroom, made it more open, a lot more space, people to get around, doesn't feel congested, and just got it brightened up. We love keeping things clean, so we're just showing that off today," said Ian Coleman sales and purchasing director.
OC Fireworks does see people who come from Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and all across the United States, due to Indiana firework laws.
In last year's tariffs Coleman said they were hit pretty hard, "the tariffs have been a little rough, but we've actually ate most of that cost instead of passing that along, but it's, it's been working out."
99% of fireworks come from China and the 1% come from India and South America.
"You can see some professional level items that are built here, but that's pretty rare too. I believe last year the US was excited because they had built one item here that could be marketed for mass production, so the other 1% actually will come from like South America or like India."
