9th annual Hall of Heroes Comic Con concludes its first day

ELKHART, Ind. -- Ninth annual Hall of Heroes Comic Con Brought voice actors, actors, artists, and more to Michiana

It took place at the Northern Indiana Event Center where community members get the opportunity to meet their favorite celebrities or even make their own lightsaber.

"It's just people are having a great time meeting some of their favorite celebrities, shopping, find some cool stuff for their own collections," said Allen Stewart the executive director of the Hall of Heroes' Superhero Museum. "So we bring in different guests every year, and we always have different vendors, you know, we also have new vendors that, you know, join, and so, yeah, it's just we try to keep everything fresh and different, so it's a great new experience for everyone every year."

Tomorrow will be the last day of the comic con from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Stewart also said there's big plans for their 10-year anniversary next year.

"Next year is going to be our big 10-year anniversary, and we're really excited about that. We will be moving to the Century Center next year for our Big 10-year anniversary and will be the first weekend in April next year."
