Small Business Celebration in Downtown South Bend November 26
SOUTH BEND, Ind. --The community is encouraged by downtown South Bend, Inc. to support and celebrate the variety of small, locally owned businesses in downtown South Bend at the year's Small Business Saturday on November 26.
You can start your shopping at the Small Business Saturday Welcome Booth from 10:00 a.m.-noon at the Howard Park Event Center to get your own Shop small bag, for the first 30 shoppers, and a list of all deals downtown for the day.
The Welcome Booth features giveaways, coupons, coffee, Jack's Donuts and a Shop Small photo booth, and make sure to check out the local vendors at Howard Holiday Market at 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in Howard Park Event Center, brought by South Bend Venue Parks & Arts.
Downtown South Bend's annual Holiday Tree & Wreath Sales on Gridiron will be November 26 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., with proceeds benefitting Relay for Life of St. Joseph County, with wreathes and fresh-cut trees locally sourced by JK Tree Farm.
There will be free parking available all day in the parking garages, on the street and surface lots.
Small Business Saturday is dedicated to supporting small businesses throughout the country and celebrates yearly on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, which if you spend $100 at local businesses, approximately $68 stays in the local community; and if you spend that same amount at large businesses, only $43 stays in the local economy.
