UPDATE: Silver Alert cancelled for 66-year-old La Porte man
La Porte County Sheriff’s Office UPDATE: On Sept. 13, the Indiana State Police canceled the Silver Alert for Ronald Bowling and the La Porte County Sheriff's Office says Bowling is safely home with his family.
ORIGINAL: LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday evening (Sept. 5) that it is investigating the disappearance of 66-year-old Ronald Bowling of La Porte.
Authorities say Bowling is a 5'7" white male who weights roughly 160 pounds. He has gray hair with blue eyes and was last seen wearing a cowboy hat with polka dots, a white shirt, and black shorts.
He was last seen on Wednesday, August 28 at 3:30 p.m. in La Porte.
Authorities say he is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
