Happy March! The month is really coming in like a lion, with a tremendous amount of cold air rushing into Michiana, slicing our high temperatures in half from yesterday. Light flurries through the morning hours, not much accumulation is expected from this event. Clouds start to clear overnight, and the breeze continues to die down. Expect mostly sunny skies for your Sunday, still seeing below average temperatures, though we do warm up again as we head into the work week. A low-pressure system is headed our way in the middle of the week, with rain expected to start Monday night, and multiples bands affect us through Wednesday night. While this precipitation will likely fall as rain through Wednesday, expect mixed precipitation or switch over to snow through Wednesday night. Up to an inch of rain could be seen in areas around Michiana through Wednesday, with a coating of snow for the entire area when we wake up Thursday morning. Cold temperatures again to end the week but gradually warming back to the 50s next weekend.
Today: Light AM flurries. Cold. High 26.
Tonight: Decreasing clouds and wind. Low 18.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, slight breeze. High 35.
Monday: Partly cloudy, slightly warmer. Rain starts overnight. High 42.
