While pockets of fog are popping up across Michiana, widespread dense fog is not expected this morning. High pressure to our south begins to break down today, allowing cooler temperatures in the mid 80s to trickle in and rain chances to increase substantially. A few showers and storms are possible in the late morning and early afternoon, but the best chance for rain begins this evening and lasts through the overnight. A broken line of showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be severe, crawls into our western counties around 8-9 PM and does not exit until the following morning. Heavy rain, flooding, and gusty winds are the main concern overnight. After the last of the rain Thursday morning, highs are cooler than normal in the mid 70s, a trend that carries through the rest of the week.
Today: Isolated thunderstorms. High 84.
Tonight: Thunderstorms. Low 62.
Thursday: AM rain. High 76.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 76.
