SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- Around 1 p.m Sunday, South Bend Police were called to North Adams Street for a shooting.
Police said they found a man shot in the leg outside of a home on North Adams Street.
Neighbors say they heard gunshots.
"I just heard a couple gunshots go off, I didn't know what was happening but then my girl told me that someone got shot and I ran outside and I was nosy. I saw a lot of police, there were four police officers and a couple of ambulances," South Bend resident Robert Williams said.
South Bend Police won't release any information right now on a suspect.
They say the victim is expected to survive.
