Severe storms Wednesday afternoon

NOW: Severe storms Wednesday afternoon
NEXT:

The humidity will continue to rise, becoming sticky overnight a few showers or thundershowers are possible early Wednesday morning. Wednesday is a muggy day as we await the cold front that will kick off a second round of storms, and possible severe threat. Timing for severe weather is 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM it may rain before or after that time period but severe weather potential is in that window. The question will be how the line forms? When storms form over that area cells, merge into cluster then form a line. That can mean a scattering of impacts before the line reaches full strength. This is likely to happen west to east, so the threat increased eastward towards Ohio, Wednesday evening. Be ready for weather alerts to get more information and take action.

The heat breaks temporarily Thursday and Friday, then the weekend is really hot and humid, with highs in the 90s and a heat index near 100, Sunday and Monday. A heat advisory is likely to be issued.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 80.

Friday: Mostly sunny. High 86
