Lake effect snow coverage will increase through the evening, impacting northern Michiana counties and eventually will reach counties further inland. Lake effect snow should taper off later this evening. Additional snowfall accumulations of 1-3" are expected through Monday AM.

Road conditions have improved slightly thanks to barely above freezing temperatures during the day. However, re-freezing overnight is a concern, as temperatures will fall to the 20s—aiding the the development of black ice and icy roads Monday morning. Expect a slick Monday morning commute.

Michiana gets a brief break from snow for the first half of Monday, but another round of snow could impact Michiana Monday evening throught Tuesday morning—with another few inches possible by Tuesday Morning. The rest of Tuesday looks to be fairly quiet and snow-free, but not for long. Renewed chances for snow return by midweek.

Tonight: Cloudy with a few snow showers. Additional 1-3" expected, likely more in Northern Michiana. Low 21.

Monday: PM snow showers. High 28.

Tuesday: Quieter weather, some break in clouds in PM. Cold. High 28.

Wednesday: PM snow shower chances. High 32.
