Search continues for person shooting at cars on I-96
INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. -- The search continues for the person who is randomly shooting at cars on I-96 in Michigan.
And police say he is coming dangerously close to killing a driver.
The FBI is asking the public to stay calm and said they are working very hard to catch the shooter.
There have been 24 random cars hit on I-96 since last month.
One man was shot in the hip on his way to the World Series and others dodged bullets by just a few feet.
Police have a sketch of the suspect and plenty of help from the public.
"I can tell you that the tips keep coming in, some are better than others as may guess and we're chasing every one of those down," said Sheriff Wrigglesworth. "We're giving it our best shot."
The task force says it has gotten more than 2200 tips.
The reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction is over $100,000.
