Scattered evening showers and thunderstorms bring much needed rain. The severe threat is low but downpours could bring a beneficial half inch or greater rainfall.

Mild and breezy Tuesday as highs struggle to reach 70. Choppy on Lake Michigan with red flag conditions. Midweek is fair and dry before the humidity builds again to end the week. The chance of scattered storms returns Friday with muggy weekend in the forecast.

Tonight: Scattered showers and storms lasting into early morning. Low 63.
Tuesday: Gradual clearing, mild and breezy. High 70.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 76.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 80.
