SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs announced former Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano will make a special appearance during a game on June 25 at Four Winds Field.

Zambrano pitched 11 years for the Chicago Cubs and a total of 12 in the MLB.

Organizers say there will be a special VIP meet-and-greet with Zambrano prior to the game.

There will be 100 VIP packages available, and tickets are on sale now.

The VIP bundle includes a game ticket with seating in the new 11/11 Club located on the second floor of the new event building in the left field corner, a two-hour all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet, and the guaranteed opportunity to meet Zambrano.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.

The buffet includes grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, macaroni and cheese, and cookies, along with lemonade, water and soda.

VIP tickets are $99.

Organizers say this package is the only way to guarantee an opportunity to get a picture and autograph with Zambrano.
