Rose Spa massage parlor busted for alleged prostitution in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) west detectives, along with Berrien County Sheriff Office, FBI, and MSP Fifth District Crime Prevention Squad and Special Investigation Section members report they served a search warrant this week at Rose Spa in the 16000 block of Red Arrow Highway.

 Authorities say the venue was advertised to be a massage parlor but is suspected of engaging I illicit sexual activity.

The report states this was brought to the attention of authorities through tips from the community.

With the gathered information, state and federal agencies then began an investigation that spanned about four months.

After executing the search warrant, a 47-year-old New Buffalo woman was arrested and taken to the Berrien County Jail for several charges, including felony prostitution, keeping a house of ill fame, 2 misdemeanor charges of soliciting prostitution, and disorderly conduct.

Detectives also located and seized evidence that is suspected of being related to lewd and lascivious acts.

Authorities say the business has been shut down
