Rose Bowl loss puts an end to Notre Dame football season

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. –– The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost 31 to 14 in the Rose Bowl to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Friday. The Crimson Tide offense proved to be too much for the Notre Dame defense.

Heisman finalists, quarterback Mac Jones and wide receiver DeVonta Smith connected three times to put Alabama past Notre Dame.
