Robin Roberts returns to Good Morning America

NEW YORK — After five months away from the anchor desk Robin Roberts is returning to Good Morning America.
GMA made the announcement Thursday morning.
Roberts has been on medical leave after a bone marrow transplant but doctors gave her the go-ahead to go back to work this month.
Her co-hosts were excited to welcome her back and so were a few celebrity friends.
Roberts will not work her old schedule right away. She will gradually move back into the Monday through Friday routine.
Roberts' first air-date on GMA is Feb. 20,
